Passion fruit caipirinha
5 MINUTES | SERVES 1 | EASY
Passion fruit adds a tangy, tropical twist to this classic Brazilian cocktail.
lime ½, cut into wedges
caster sugar 3 tsp
passion fruit 1
cachaça 50ml
• Use the end of a rolling pin to muddle together the lime wedges and sugar in an old fashioned glass or tumbler. Halve the passion fruit, scoop out the pulp and add to the glass. Gently muddle again and pour in the cachaça. Fill the glass with ice and stir well until combined and the ice has diluted the cocktail a little.
