Internal peace, when we accept things, is again a very good sign of health. But we are very poor in that area. Our health is connected with the physical body. Unfortunately, the health of the physical body is extremely variable. So many factors can create ill health, wrong food, a wrong environment, etc.
Just attending to the physical body for health is not the answer. We have to continuously work in the direction of the mind, spirit, and such areas. The mind should not be fluctuating. It should be steady. A steady mind can bring understanding and that can give us health. We notice that when we are disturbed, various health problems come. If we are at peace, there are fewer health problems. But we don’t study these things. We only complain that we are not feeling well and take some medicine. The medicines nowadays are relying more on tranquilizers to make the person relaxed and energetic. The person has to go deeper into physical and mental health. A state of mind which is balanced and remains so for a long time can give us good health.
