LOUISE McVEY Ceramicist

I make ceramic sculptural work and street installations (graffiti ceramics). I also sing and write. Art and music have always been my passion. As a child, I would draw family portraits, collect objects and enjoy rearranging my own space. I have a vivid memory of a short spell in hospital as a child, where I was sad and homesick, when I was invited to take part in an art session. To this day, I can still see in my mind the plaster owl I made. That moment felt like a bit of home, and a small achievement.
