To Brian, Jude, and Nicole Kow, who run family business Nic & Wes Builders Pte Ltd, building homes isn’t just a job. It’s an undying passion which they feel a tremendous amount for. We chat with the trio to learn more about the legacy they have built.

Built On Passion

Hi Brian, Jude, and Nicole! Could you each tell us more about yourselves and your roles in the company?

Brian: My wife, Jude, and I founded the company back in 2002. Back then, we practically did everything ourselves, from the conceptualizing to the developing and building of homes. We want to offer something different to clients, and typically think about projects from the customer’s point of view.

Nicole: I joined my parents’ company about five or six years ago, and I handle the marketing portion of the business. I used to work for a publication and was drawn towards the lifestyle sections, so it was an easy transition. My brother Wes, who has his own photography company also contributes by producing our Youtube videos.

How would you describe Nic & Wes Builders Pte Ltd as a company, and what services do you offer?

Brian: We’re like a bona-fide one-stop shop for building homes and home makeovers. Clients just have to tell us what their dream homes consist of and we’ll produce the whole thing. We usually begin the process by working on the concept infusing our design elements with our client’s wishlist. It’s not just a space with square rooms that we want to present to our customers, but one that pulls your family together.

About 70-75% of the construction work is done in house, and this ensures more control and effective communication. There are hundreds of elements to consider with every project, so having a general point-of-contact to keep everyone in the loop creates less miscommunication.
