With three children, including young twins, the owners wanted a home with open-plan living spaces so that they could always be seen. A clear line of sight from the kitchen to the swimming pool outside makes it easier for the owners to keep an eye on their children.
The open spaces and stacking doors next to the patio, which open up, allow for easy entertaining. “We love having family over,” the owners say.
Much of their time is spent outside at the boma. “We sit around it about once a week, even if we are not braaiing. It’s about the ambience.”
