Capella Bangkok is just that, a stunning five-star hotel in the Thai capital and we headed there recently with our besties for a fun but relaxing three-night stay to celebrate some milestone birthdays.
There are 101 rooms, suites and villas in Capella, all with panoramic views of the majestic Chao Phraya River. The beautifully styled sunlit guestrooms and suites start from a generous 61 square metres, with floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor living spaces from where you can enjoy a front-row seat of the bustling river activity; the suites have separate living rooms too.
As for the villas, these seven contemporary, calming sanctuaries sit on the edge of the Chao Phraya, maximising the beauty of the riverfront. You can enjoy the water views from the outdoor jacuzzi plunge pool, and there's also a generous bathroom with an oversized tub and indoor and outdoor showers.
