We all know it is necessary to pay attention to what we eat. In particular, during the hot days of summer in Italy, the elders say that the sweltering heat calls for a light diet that is also rich in vitamins and minerals. This diet should also be able to counter the loss of body fluids due to perspiration.

SIMPLE FOOD A LA SANTO PAPA

This kind of “grandmotherly advice” is known also to the staff of Casa Santa Marta’s dining hall where every day, as a common guest, Pope Francis eats his meals.
