This Negrense foundation is on a mission to fight hunger and poverty one voyage at a time.
In 2018, the Negrense Volunteers for Change (NVC) Foundation read about a boy who died of malnutrition in a village called Glab. Though difficult and challenging, the search led members of the foundation to the far-flung village in Zamboanga del Sur. They knew that one malnourished child meant that there were many more. When they finally found the village, there were 175 children who needed their help, with about 60 of them severely malnourished.
