TODAY’S DYNAMIC DUO ARE FEELING THE PRESSURE TO TURN RATINGS AROUND

Ratings season has officially begun for another year, but it’s brought about a ticking clock for Today hosts Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon.

The pressure is said to be “mounting” on the pair, after the entire Nine breakfast team were reportedly issued with a stern warning to “shape up, or ship out!”

With rival program Sunrise continuing to dominate the brekkie TV time slot, Karl, 47, and Ally, 42, have yet to really prove themselves as a golden combination, at least when it comes to the all-important ratings.

As such, one well-placed insider confirms to New Idea that Karl and Ally are now heading into “make or break” territory.

“Nine is throwing everything at Today to finally get it to number one,” explains the source.
