After more than a decade on air together, Lisa Wilkinson recently revealed she hasn’t been invited to her former Today show co-host Karl Stefanovic and fiancee Jasmine Yarbrough’s upcoming wedding in Mexico.

And while it’s been widely speculated that Lisa, 58, and Karl’s relationship was purely professional, with no love lost between the stars, our sources say there is a far more surprising reason that The Project co-host didn’t get an invite to the December nuptials.

“Karl knew she [Lisa] wouldn’t come even if he asked her,” says our well-placed insider.

“There is too much water under that bridge now and they both know it’s too hard to come back from everything that’s been said and done.”
