The Dolphins keep finding ways to get the job done with one of the most magical runs in recent years

LOS ANGELES — In the days leading up to the game against the Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, wide receiver Jarvis Landry talked about the current run the Dolphins have been on and used to describe it the term “something special.”

After the Dolphins scored two late touchdowns to rally to beat the Rams, Landry spoke to reporters outside the dressing room while eating a banana to deal with a cramping issue that arose during the game.

Landry didn’t use the word “special” that time, but he did say the victory was so uplifting and emotional that he did some crying after it was over.

Yep, there indeed is something special going on with these Miami Dolphins, who just keep finding a way to win games despite having to deal with their share of adversity — if not more than their share.

Against the New York Jets, the Dolphins got the winning points on a late kickoff return by rookie Kenyan Drake.

Against the San Diego Chargers, it was an interception return for a touchdown by linebacker Kiko Alonso that provided the winning margin.

Against the Rams, it was Ryan Tannehill who played the role of hero, throwing two touchdown passes in the final seven minutes, including one to the aforementioned Landry.
