Chennai City Looks At Consistency

There is no use in drawing a game or losing it, says head coach Nawas

Defending champion Chennai City FC will look forward in maintaining its winning touch when it takes on Quess East Bengal in the Hero I-League clash at the Nehru Stadium here on Saturday.

The team’s head coach Akbar Nawas must be quite pleased that his players are slowly coming to grips in the league. “It’s happening step by step, but it’s a young team and we are looking at consistency.

“If you train the way you want to play then you get consistency but with these young boys it is difficult. That’s not the case with the experienced stars,” he said.
