CENTRAL
We live at Robertson Quay. We used to visit the area when we were living in a different area of Singapore for nine months, and we didn’t quite understand the appeal of the area. I think we were often visiting at the wrong times of the day when it was a bit quiet – plus, I didn’t really start to understand the benefits of living along the river until my daughter began to walk. Robertson Quay is such a family-friendly area with a lovely community. It’s also in a good central location with plenty to do within walking distance. Caroline
We’re in the Robertson Quay area, and we love it. It’s a family-friendly environment with loads of other families around and kids everywhere for mine to play with. Our condo is perfect for young families, and my kids practically live in the swimming pool. The cafes and restaurants in the area are all kid-friendly, and many are dog-friendly, which is great for our rescue Singapore Special, Kopi. Even when my kids were both babies and I was breastfeeding, I never had any issues sitting in the cafés and feeding. They were all so accommodating, understanding and helpful. It’s an awesome area of Singapore to live in, plus it takes us about five minutes to get to work, so I often pop home during the day or after meetings to see my kids. Rebecca
