Its easier than you think to create space in your day for mindfulness
It calms your mind, makes you more compassionate and reduces your workday stress, yet finding time to meditate can seem an impossible feat. But, it needn’t be, believes international mindfulness advocate Neil Seligman and author of 100 Mindfulness Meditations (Conscious House, £12.99).
‘Your breath and body will always be ready and available to lead you into present-moment awareness,’ he says. 1) GO SHOPPING
Investing in the objects used for practice will support you on your mindfulness journey, says Seligman. A timer with an alarm allows you to relax into the experience without worrying about being late for your next commitment. And buy a beautiful notepad to use as a mindfulness journal to record any insights you gain.
