Stroll through the alleyways of the medieval Medina, or browse the shops in the souks, selling leather goods and traditional crafts. A visit to the stunning Jardin Majorelle, once the home of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, is a must. In the evening, a visit to the main square of Jemaa el-Fnaa – with its acrobats and snake charmers – is like stepping onto the set of an Indiana Jones movie. Do take a warm top though as night-times can get chilly.
