The one choice that can change your life forever is to own who you truly are. Own your dreams and believe it’s possible to achieve them. There might be real obstacles like lack of skills or experience, financial constraints, child responsibility, lack of time, health deficits, etc; yet if you believe it’s possible, the way to achieve them will automatically present itself before you. Often what is holding us back from living a life true to ourselves are our insecurities, fear, familiarity, lack of self-worth, painful past experiences, lack of awareness, lack of confidence in ourselves, lack of advocating women representations in a professional capacity, etc. Once we learn to get in touch with our inner-self and give ourselves the gift of acceptance whether it’s for our weaknesses or strengths, we can drive ourselves out of whatever is holding us back from living our best life.
Challenging the status quo will not be an easy experience but have remarkable benefits in women empowerment. But the only thing that will help you sustain the process is willpower and belief in yourself and the confidence to reject anything that drives you off the needed change.
Be the chess player, not the chess piece.
