Hero MotoCorp has kicked off the year with quite a bang. We've already ridden the new Xoom 125, and now we've sampled their latest product, which is its most powerful motorcycle on sale in India

Hero’s Xtreme family currently consists of the 125R and 160R, both of which provide great all-rounders, with a penchant for sporty handling characteristics. These bikes also have a fairly aggressive design language, although that is more true for the former. Recently, we headed down to Udaipur for a chance to ride Hero’s newest member of said family, which is supposed to compete in the 250cc segment. It’s called the Xtreme 250R and is completely new from the ground up. So, where does it fit in this particular model line, and does it deserve that Xtreme badge at all?
