MosChip is celebrating its 25th anniversary in July. Can you share some of the key milestones and achievements that have defined MosChip's journey over the past two and a half decades?

Over the past two and a half decades, MosChip has achieved several notable milestones and accomplishments, instituting itself as a prominent player in the semiconductor and system design industry. With its establishment in 1999, MosChip was the first fabless semiconductor company publicly traded in India, headquartered in Hyderabad. As a strategic step for capacity and capability expansion, later from 2016 to 2019, MosChip acquired multiple companies – ElitePLUS Semiconductor Technologies, Orange Semiconductors, FirstPass Semiconductor and Gigacom Semiconductor that expanded our semiconductor capabilities. We also entered the training sector with the acquisition of Institute of Silicon Systems (Now M-ISS) in Hyderabad.

In October 2022, MosChip partnered with TSMC as its Open Innovation Platform Design Center Alliance Member. In the same year in December, we inaugurated a World-class VLSI & Embedded Systems Training Facility (M-ISS) at new premises that has trained and provided 2000+ engineers to the industry. MosChip India and USA won various meritorious awards, viz. Gold Choice Outstanding Influential Enterprise by EE Times Asia, Most Valuable Software Supplier by Qualcomm, Asia-Pacific’s Top 500 High-Growth Companies by Financial Times & Statista, Fast Growing Indian American company by US India SME Council and the list goes on.
