COMEDY icon Steve Martin had his first child, Mary, a decade ago and loves being a dad so much, the senior citizen’s talking with wife Anne Stringfield about having another one — at the age of 77, spies tattle.

Now co-starring with pal Martin Short on Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, the funny-guy “was a late-in-life, first-time dad and even that happened on a fluke,” dishes an insider.

“He never even thought he’d want kids and for years he didn’t, but now he kicks himself for waiting so long.”
