GH: SPENCER AND TRINA MAKE LOVE!

This is not a drill, “Sprina” fans: While on their romantic getaway to New York this week, Spencer and Trina finally make love.

According to Trina’s portrayer, Tabyana Ali, taking this major step forward with her boyfriend has “for sure, no doubt, one hundred percent” been on Trina’s mind from the moment she and Spencer first agreed to take a jaunt to Manhattan.

“It’s not that they necessarily had an argument; they were just in a bit of a tight space,” says Ali of the dynamic between Spencer and Trina since their return from Greenland, which includes him sharing living quarters with his ex and baby brother. “And I think it’s that tightness that probably made Spencer feel like, ‘Okay, I need to do something so that we can have our moment and our time alone,’ which caused him to suggest this trip.”

As soon as they arrive at their hotel, “I think she’s trying to get her mind mentally prepared for [them being intimate],” Ali continues. “Not like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I need to mentally prepare for this,’ because I do think she has already been thinking about it. When I say ‘mentally prepared’ I mean it more like, ‘Okay, I need to calm my nerves of excitement.’ ” After all, the actress points out, “Trina was the one asking Spencer to go ahead and do it” when they’ve gotten hot and heavy in the past. “She thought it was going to happen in Greenland and it didn’t. Now, it’s like, ‘Oh, my gosh, now it’s really going to happen, on this romantic date in New York City!’ ”
