Elena goes on high alert about Nate and Victoria after Audra mentions their growing closeness.

“Elena has had a few uneasy feelings when it comes to witnessing Nate’s new dynamic with Victoria,” notes Brytni Sarpy (Elena). “When Audra reconfirms this faint suspicion Elena already had in the back of her mind, it brings everything to the forefront. While Elena trusts the sincerity of Audra’s observation, she doesn’t trust the intention behind it.”

Elena confronts Nate and asks what’s going on between him and Victoria. Nate assures her that their relationship is strictly professional. Sarpy shares, “Elena has never known Nate to blatantly lie to her but after his initial denial, she’s more aware of the amount of time Nate and Victoria are spending together.”

Elena backs down — for the time being. “Elena wants to trust the man she has been building a life with,” says Sarpy. “However, she can’t ignore the growing intimacy between Nate and Victoria, so Elena will ultimately trust her intuition.”

BABIES ON BOARD

At the coffeehouse, Mariah tells Sharon that her daughter has been born. Later, Adam informs Sharon that Sally is pregnant with his child.

Adam reaches out to Sally and expresses concern about her health; she tells him his assistance isn’t needed until the baby is born. Later, Nick warns Sally that the more involved Adam becomes, the harder it will be for him to let go.
