THE gloves are off. On Dec. 20, Blake Lively filed a bombshell lawsuit against her It Ends With Us director and costar, Justin Baldoni, claiming he sexually harassed her on the set of their hit film and later orchestrated a smear campaign against her. Eight days later, it was revealed the 40-year-old was hitting back with a suit of his own, alleging that she was the one who had mounted a negative PR campaign against him. “When we file our first lawsuit, it is going to shock everyone who has been manipulated into believing a demonstrably false narrative,” Justin’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, said in a fiery statement.

The war between Blake and Justin has been playing out publicly since the movie’s August release. Now, Blake, 37, appears to have the upper hand. While Justin has denied all of the claims against him, the fallout has been swift: His former publicist sued him, he was dropped by his talent agency, WME (which also represents Blake and her husband of 12 years, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds), and the avowed feminist was stripped of an award given him by a women’s nonprofit organization. On Dec. 24, the cohost of his Man Enough podcast, Liz Plank, quit. “Clearly, Justin messed with the wrong person,” a source tells Star, noting that the Jane the Virgin alum isn’t showing much remorse (his wife of 11 years, Emily Baldoni, appears to be standing by him; they were spotted out in L.A. together on Dec. 23). “He’s being shunned left and right, but he still seems to be in denial that this is happening to him.”
