The hunt for a serial killer places a determined detective and a skilled psychiatrist under unbearable pressure in Paramount+'s new brooding psychological thriller, The Crow Girl.
Based on the Scandi-noir novels by Erik Axl Sund - which is the pen name of Swedish authors Jerker Eriksson and Håkan Axlander Sundquist the uncompromising six-part series sees Hijack's Eve Myles star as Bristol cop DCI Jeanette Kilburn, who is investigating a distressing case alongside her colleague DI Lou Stanley (Vigil actor Dougray Scott).
The pair are baffled when the body of a young man is found in a bag, having been beaten and drugged with an anaesthetic.Jeanette suspects that dentist Carl Lowry (Trevor White), who has been arrested for possession of child-abuse images, may be connected and she seeks the help of enigmatic Dr Sophia Craven (Katherine Kelly), the psychiatrist who is clinically assessing him.
