HER hair is dyed platinum and set in a perfect curled coiffe, her left cheek has a single beauty spot, her lips are a glossy red and she speaks in a breathy, high-pitched voice.

It’s Marilyn Monroe all the way – and there’s more. Jasmine Chiswell dresses only in 1950s outfits and even lives in a house once owned by the screen icon she idolises.

She believes Marilyn represents “a moment in time” and it’s a moment she wants to live in forever.

“I’ve always loved Marilyn,” Jasmine says. “She has amazing style and confidence and it’s something I really look up to.”

She loves Marilyn and the era she lived in so much that she’s making her living out of it and gathering hordes of fans along the way.

Jasmine has a beauty channel on TikTok where 16,5 million followers watch her transform into the woman whose magic, mystery and style still live on 60 years after her death.

Last year Jasmine (29) launched the Old Hollywood ColourPop Collection, a makeup brand that consists of pressed powder palettes, lip kits and glosses and starred in a photoshoot to promote the range in which she was a dead ringer for Marilyn.

But Jasmine maintains she’s no impersonator – she’s just a lover of old Hollywood glamour and she’s lucky enough to look a bit like Marilyn.

She shares her social media platform with her husband, Maverick McNeilly, who has his own vintage-inspired style and the pair are quite the talking point when they step out in their retro threads

“People stop us in the street and ask us what set we came off from, thinking we’re in a movie,” Jasmine says.
