Piaget celebrates its 150th anniversary in style with its shining symbols of elegance, the Polo and Possession

Introduced in 1979, the Polo was a sports watch with an integrated bracelet (a tremendous trend at the time) from elegant, chic, ultra-thin Piaget, one that was outrageously presented in solid yellow gold to capture the glitzy cosmos of the brand. It was also the f irst timepiece from the Maison to be christened, which should tell you everything you need to know about its eminence. Now, to celebrate 150 years since GeorgesÉdouard Piaget f irst set up his workshop in La Côte-aux-Fées, the wrist icon is once again making an impression.

The world collectively oohed and aahed over the glamorous Polo 79, a revisit of the vintage original that kicked off Piaget’s sesquicentennial earlier in the year. At Watches and Wonders 2024, a charming duo of Polo Date watches joins the anniversary reissue, albeit with less f lash.
