Soda and the Hawk

My little rescue dog, Soda, and I ventured out at sunrise. Our usual morning walk is a quick loop around the yard, but Soda had other plans, pulling forward with purpose.

Since he has grown older and become blind, moments like this, where he is a driving force of puppy will, are few and far between, so I let him lead, wondering what he had in mind.
