PRINCE HARRY'S LEFT TO FACE THE MUSIC ALONE

This time last year, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was up in arms. She had just returned to London with her husband, Prince Harry, to attend a charity event, when news broke that Queen Elizabeth II had died at Balmoral Castle.

The Sussexes were desperately trying to find a way to get from Windsor to Scotland post haste, when a call from the new King lit up Harry's phone. His message was clear - Harry was welcome at the castle, but his sons' wives, Meghan and Prince William's spouse Catherine, were not to attend.

New Idea understands that Meghan, 42, is still smarting over the decision.

A year on from Her Majesty's passing at the age of 96 on September 8, Harry is back in the UK this week for the annual WellChild Awards. He'll then jet to Germany where he'll host the Invictus Games.
