SHOCK CLAIMS ABOUT SON'S PATERNITY LEAVES THE PAIR REELING

Never in their wildest dreams did Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson expect to face paternity claims over their son, Chet.

But that's the predicament the Hollywood couple have found themselves in, and it's left them both "devastated", reveals a close friend.

It all began after an onset feud between Chet and US TV host Eric Andre exploded on social media. Eric called into question whether or not Tom, 66, is Chet’s biological father, given the 32-year-old seems to be the total opposite of Tom’s eldest son, actor Colin, who is the product of his first marriage to Samantha Lewes.

“I dare him to take a DNA test and prove that Tom Hanks is his father,” Eric ranted in an online post. Earlier, in an interview with Rolling Stone, he quipped, “How did Colin Hanks come out so good and Chet Hanks come out so bad?”

Tom and Rita’s problems with Chet have been well-documented, but this latest embarrassment has understandably hurt his mum, also 66, deeply.
