NEW Welling boss Danny Bloor opened his next chapter at Park View Road – but it was Charlton Athletic who took the local bragging rights.

The League One Addicks ran rampant in front of a sell-out crowd, but Bloor was keen to take the positives from his side’s first pre-season outing.
“The atmosphere around the place was brilliant and it was always going to be a tough test against a side many divisions above us,” he told The NLP.
“I’m not concentrating on the score line. Charlton have been training longer than us and were going to be fresher and sharper but there were certain things I was happy with out there.
