Mumbai: The city crime branch has busted a rare modus operandi where a gang of three allegedly developed two illegal websites, hacked the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) website and stole confidential personal information of the citizens of Maharashtra, Delhi and Gujarat, including Aadhaar numbers, names and addresses, for sale to marketing agencies and bank loan recovery agents.
