Volume per sale falls as gold turns dearer by 30% year-over-year
Ahmedabad registered a sale of Rs 80 crore on Pushya Nakshatra, Thursday, which is considered an auspicious day to buy gold and diamond jewellery.
Revenue up, volume down
Hemant Sathwara of Choksi Mahajan in Manek Chowk said, "Going by the quantity of gold, silver sold, we've reached around 60% of what we sold on Pushya Nakshatra during Diwali 2023.
