Freeman's going Bok to the future

TOMMY FREEMAN wants to bury his Twickenham nightmare by getting one over the mighty world champion Springboks on Saturday.

Two years ago the Northampton wing won his third cap - and his first at HQ against the South Africans on a calamitous day for him and England.

The Boks triumphed 27-13 and head coach Eddie Jones hooked the player off at half-time with many of his relatives in the stands.

Freeman had been a success story on that summer's victorious tour to Australia but it all turned into a horror show for him and Jones.

The head coach was handed his cards by the RFU soon after and Freeman, then just 21, did not force his way back into the Test side for more than a year - and it still rankles.
