AMERICAN legend Michael Jordan is tipping Europe to win back the Ryder Cup in Rome this week, skipper Luke Donald has revealed.
The US-based Brit's team arrive in the Italian capital today on a mission to "avenge" the record defeat in 2021.
Former Chicago Bulls star Jordan is a massive golf fan and supporter of the USA team and infamously confronted Ian Poulter at the Miracle of Medinah.
But Donald, now a friend and neighbour of Jordan in Florida, said: "I had dinner with him a few weeks ago, and he tipped the Europeans to win. That's what he told me but don't tell the Americans that.
"It could be mind games from him but he's a good friend. We live very close to each other and he loves golf. We just played a few times and struck up a friendship.
