Prince of Wales says late Queen is up there, fondly keeping an eye on us

PRINCE William has said the late Queen would have been "a proud mother" while watching over the King being crowned.

He added at the Coronation concert in the grounds of Windsor Castle: "I know she's up there, fondly keeping an eye on us." In another heartfelt moment during his speech, the Prince of Wales said: "Pa, we are all so proud of you."

Prince refers to the late Queen to hail Charles

PRINCE William tugged at his father's heartstrings by talking about the late Queen looking over him with pride.

In a speech last night, the Prince of Wales said: "As my grandmother said when she was crowned, coronations are a declaration of our hopes for the future... I know she's up there, fondly keeping an eye on us. She would be a proud mother."

He also paid tribute to his father's achievements, such as campaigning on the environment and changing the lives of over a million disadvantaged young people through the Prince's Trust.
