SUPERMARKETS have kicked off their Christmas price wars, reducing the cost of some popular festive trimmings to just 15p.
Sainsbury's was the first, announcing last week that Nectar Card customers can buy vegetables such as bags of white potatoes and parsnips for 15p from December 18 to Christmas Eve.
Aldi followed suit, announcing its Christmas Super Six promotion that will sell veg favourites at that price too.
