TV host Kate Garraway told of her "unbelievable day" as she was made an MBE by the Prince of Wales while proud husband Derek Draper looked on.
The Good Morning Britain host was recognised in the New Year Honours for her services to broadcasting, journalism and charity.
She received the award from William, with Derek and her parents Gordon and Marilyn nearby.
Former political adviser Derek became seriously ill with coronavirus in March 2020. It left him with long-lasting damage to his organs and requiring daily care.
