Liam returns to centre stage as England beat Blackcaps with stunning comeback

LIAM LIVINGSTONE took out some of his frustrations over the last year to spark a brilliant fight back win against New Zealand.

Livingstone threw down the right-handed hammer with the bat to strike an ODI best of 95 not out from 78 balls and make it back-to-back fifties for him in the first two games.

And with the bowlers stepping up, led by the left-arm skills of David Willey and Reece Topley (right) who took three wickets apiece, England went from being 28-4 to win by 79 runs.

Livingstone was the undoubted star of the 34-over contest due to an early delay for rain.

He combined with Moeen Ali and then Sam Curran to lift his side from 55-5 at one stage to 226-7.
