Champion Vondrousova says that she and Raducanu have proved anything ts possible

CZECH ace Marketa Vondrousova says she and Emma Raducanu have shown in the last two years that the sky is the limit for anyone in women's tennis.

Vondrousova became the first unseeded player to lift the Venus Rosewater Dish (above) on Saturday when she beat Ons Jabeur 6-4 6-4 to win the women's singles Wimbledon title.

Raducanu was the first qualifier to win the US Open (right) when she triumphed in New York in September 2021.

Asked if her and Raducanu's endeavours showed anything is possible, Vondrousova replied: "Yes. I feel like everybody is playing such great tennis that it doesn't matter whether you are ranked 70 or 20, anyone can beat anyone.
