The Foo Fighters frontman, 55, is fighting for his marriage to model Jordyn Blum after admitting he has fathered a child with another woman.
His confession came almost a year after rumours first began circulating that he had been unfaithful to Jordyn, 48.
And one source last night insisted that his affair was not just a one-night stand, but a relationship.
They said: "Dave has been involved with this woman for some time, and members of his team were aware of it.
