MPs yesterday accused concert ticket sellers of fleecing Oasis fans after many had to pay more than double the advertised cost.

Tens of thousands queued online for hours from 9am on Saturday only to be told "dynamic pricing" meant they had to lay out £355 or more instead of £158.

Glitches also kicked fans off booking sites after they got through.

David Baines, Labour MP for St Helens North, said: "After rightly criticising those who got presale tickets and then immediately tried to resell them for huge profits, it's shocking to hear that Ticketmaster UK are now using dynamic pricing' to fleece fans and rake in the cash.

"Especially insulting for those who queued all day." About 1.4million tickets were sold for the shows in Manchester, Cardiff, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

And just after 7pm, Oasis and Ticketmaster announced it was a sell-out.
