IT'S NOT MY CALL TO AXE ERIK

ERIK TEN HAG has been given no assurances about his Manchester United future after co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe refused to say whether he still has faith in the Dutchman.

The 54-year-old's job is on the line after a dismal start to the season which has seen the Red Devils win just three of their opening nine games.

United have failed to win any of their last four and needed a 91st-minute equaliser from Harry Maguire to draw 3-3 in Porto on Thursday, having led the Europa League clash 2-0.

Against that backdrop, Ten Hag knows he can't afford to lose at Aston Villa tomorrow if he's to be sure of keeping his job beyond the international break.
