U'khand govt forms 3 sub-panels to come up with draft UCC rules

THE DECISION WAS TAKEN IN THE IST MEETING OF THE 9-MEMBER PANEL FORMED BY THE U'KHAND GOVT ON FEBRUARY 10

Three sub-committees have been constituted for drafting the rules of the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code, a corresponding bill for which was passed by the state assembly on February 7.

The sub-panels will be involved in the formation of rules, making facilities userfriendly with technological intervention and training of personnel who will provide facilities like registration of marriages at the village and city level.
