School axes video of Huw's chat with pupils

A VIDEO of Huw Edwards chatting to teenagers on a visit to a school is being taken down from the internet in the wake of him pleading guilty to making indecent images of children.

His talk at Bryngwyn School in Llanelli – the town where he grew up – in 2016 was one of “a number” he made to schools in the area.

During one visit the disgraced news presenter, who has admitted three counts of making indecent images of children, told youngsters about the importance of “standards” at the BBC.

On another occasion the 62-year-old explains how to “do the Huw”, making sure your arm is properly positioned on the desk before starting a bulletin.

In one talk – which was videoed – he is seen telling pupils: “BBC viewers expect a certain standard and you’d be letting the side down very badly if you didn’t try to maintain that.’’
