The Delhi High Court on Friday directed Tihar Jail authorities to provide necessary medical treatment to separatist leader Yasin Malik, who is reportedly on a hunger strike since November 1.

Justice Anoop Kumar Mendiratta issued a notice to the Centre, Delhi government, and Tihar Jail authorities after a plea was filed requesting urgent medical care for Malik, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in a terror case.
