Commission finds ex-CM BSY guilty

The Justice John Michael D'Cunha Commission, established on August 5, 2023, to investigate alleged corruption in pandemic-related procurements, has recommended prosecution of former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and former Health Minister B Sriramulu. The interim report, spanning 11 volumes, highlights irregularities in a Rs 7,223.64 crore expenditure and suggests recovering Rs 500 crore.
