The festive offering grants two days of free parking at towns across the region – with one town agreeing to offer three days in an attempt to lure shoppers away from the bright lights of malls in Exeter and Plymouth.
South Hams District Council has said the parking perks are part of its pledge to support thriving and strong high streets throughout the year.
