Geothermal Engineering Limited (GEL) has been running power plant trials at its United Downs project for several years but could scale up to industrial size thanks to a £15 million funding investment - from private equity firm Kerogen Capital and renewable energy investment company Thrive Renewables PLC - to grow its flagship project at the United Downs site and its Geogen geothermal development portfolio, including at Eden Project.
