DERRIFORD Hospital has changed its parking arrangements, saying it needs to ensure patients are able to get to their appointments on time.
The Bircham multi-storey car park has been designated as patient-only and staff have been asked to use an alternative outdoor car park, known as Car Park C which is located between the John Bull Building and the Derriford Centre for Health and Wellbeing.
One hospital user told The Herald parking at the hospital earlier this week had been "chaotic" and some staff members were "very upset" by the changes. Another visitor said: "I went to visit a patient at the hospital around 2pm Wednesday and there were marshalls at the entrance of every car park.
