ANDRE Gray looks like being Plymouth Argyle's only available striker for their forthcoming Championship matches after Ryan Hardie and Michael Obafemi both picked up injuries during the 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough at Home Park on Saturday.
Wayne Rooney's Pilgrims are bottom of the table ahead of their Boxing Day trip to Coventry City, which will be followed by another away game against Oxford United, who are currently in 23rd position. They will then host Bristol City on New Year's Day.
Hardie suffered a badly gashed left knee when he made a challenge on Middlesbrough's Ben Doak while Obafemi was substituted in only the ninth minute of the match due to a groin problem. They have been added to an injury list which already included Muhamed Tijani, the Nigerian forward who has not played since September due to a torn hamstring and is not expected to be back playing until mid-January.
Second-year apprentice striker Joe Hatch, who made his first team debut off the bench in the 1-0 defeat away to Burnley in early October, is also sidelined by a long-term knee injury.
