WHILE the pace of progress in the smart home world is perhaps not keeping up with expectations, there are still a couple of areas of your life that may well benefit from a little sprinkling of what was once the next big thing. Until AI came along.

I'm talking about lighting, yes if your lights are not switching on and off automatically as and when you need them, not only are you way behind the times, you're probably losing out on saving a few quid also.

While that can't be said for one of the other smart home areas that really is useful home securitygetting kitted out in this regard isn't any less essential in my view.

The stuff from Blink is a great way to get started, and this week we're taking a closer look at the latest security camera in its range.
